Our SDG 2020 event is held at the 5-star Hotel JW Marriott, in the beautiful city of Ankara, Turkey.

To enlighten and inspire us, we’ve secured two renowned Danish dentists; Professor of surgery, Thomas Starch-Jensen from Aalborg University and Associate Professor and Phd from Copenhagen University, Christian Damgaard.

Thomas and Christian will teach us about the latest research within surgical removal of wisdom teeth, implants, periodontitis and perioimplantitis.

PROGRAM:
March 6: Check-in from 12 pm to 2 pm.
March 6: Seminar Module 1 from 3 pm to 7 pm. (The seminar starts in the afternoon, as we have guests arriving from abroad.)
March 7: Breakfast and Check-out (for everyone staying at the JW Marriott Hotel) from 7.00 am to 8.45 am.
March 7: Seminar Module 2 and 3 from 9 am to 6 pm.

The time schedule includes seminar breaks for coffee and lunch.

ABOUT THE speakers

 

THOMAS STARCH-JENSEN

Thomas Starch-Jensen is professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery and chief surgeon at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Aalborg University Hospital, Aalborg, Denmark. Thomas graduated from Department of Dentistry and Oral Health, Aarhus University, Aarhus, Denmark in 1995 and become a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2004. He defended his PhD-thesis “Maxillary sinus floor augmentation with Bio-Oss and particulated autogenous mandibular or iliac bone grafts in different ratios” in 2011. He has authored several papers in peer-reviewed journals on this topic and his current research interests are oral implantology, bone biology, and orthognathic surgery. Thomas is a well-known nation and international speaker.

 

CHRISTIAN DAMGAARD

Christian Damgaard is DDS in 2011 from University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and PhD in 2015 from University of Copenhagen and The Forsyth Institute, Harvard University, USA.
Currently, Associate Professor at Section for Periodontology, Department of Odontology, University of Copenhagen. Completed the Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry from gIDE (Global Institute for Dental Education) and Loma Linda University, CA, in 2017.
Since 2018 periodontist and partner in the referral practice Copenhagen Clinic – Advanced Dentistry for Oral Surgery and Implants.
Author of multiple articles in both national and international peer-reviewed journals. Editorial board member of the scientific journal Acta Odontologica Scandinavica. Board member in Danish Academy of Periodontology and Danish EFP-representative for the organizing committee for EuroPerio10 in Copenhagen in 2020.

 

LARS TAUBERT JOHANSEN

Lars Taubert Johansen is the founder of Scandinavian Dentist Group and host at the SDG 2020 Seminar.
After finishing as a Dental hygienist from Copenhagen University in 2000
he continued to work in several high level clinics in Copenhagen, both as a Dental Hygienist but also as a Mentor and motivator for young Dental Hygienists.
Through the years, Lars has specialized in periodontology and patients with odontophobia.
Especially the long line of work with phobic patients has given him a vast
set of tools to be used in the world of communication and seminars.
After many active years in the dentist world he founded Scandinavian
Dentist Group with the mission to share the knowledge of experts with all passionate industry professionals.

To register for the seminar, you simply submit the registration form.
After registration, you will receive an invoice from Scandinavian Dentist Group.
Upon payment of the invoice, your registration is complete and your seat(s) reserved.

Accommodation is booked seperately.
We recommend staying at JW Marriott Ankara Hotel, where the seminar is held.
Note: At JW Marriott Ankara, we’re offering an Early Bird discount, for the first 50 bookings.

No. Your registration is not complete until you’ve paid the invoice that is being sent to you upon completion of the registration form.

Upon payment, you will receive a receipt and your name is added to the admission list.

For your security, all payments are handled through bank transfer.
The payment details are stated on the invoice, you receive after registration.

Accommodation is not included in the admission fee. You’re free to stay at a nearby hotel of your choice.
